Print club: January 2026

Our studio where we print all of our calendars and everything else is located on a windy, hilly dirt road in Becket, MA. This print is of the road on the way to the studio in January, when it is often covered with snow and sometimes we cannot even make it to work because of the conditions.

This is a three color print, printed on a chocolate brown paper. The pink is printed as an ombre, and the piece features the saying “choose your path.” We love how the sunset colors work so well with the paper, and we were all excited to print something inspired by a road we drive every day.

When we are lucky enough to have a clear early morning, the sunrises at the studio are always so bright and beautiful. We wanted to take the colors we see during those mornings while printing and turn them into a real life print.

Here are some behind the scenes photos of Crispina printing this design. She started by laying down a pink and orange three color ombre.

Once that layer was dry, she went in with the second color, a silver purple that pairs so nicely with the sunset tones.

The final color was a very light pink that almost reads as white, creating a soft contrast against the sparkly purple.

The envelopes Kerry printed were done on some of our favorite print envelopes, using that same light pink color from the print.
