As the third generation of our family involved in the business, Violet has grown up surrounded by art and creativity. Animals have always been a big part of her life, from dogs and cats to horses, and she has been drawing them for as long as she can remember. In fact, her very first calendar design featured a horse when she was just 5 years old!
After the wonderful response to her cat illustration featured in our May calendar design, Violet decided to offer custom pet portraits through our website.
Each portrait is created by hand using colored pencils, markers, and pens, making every piece unique and full of personality. While Violet has extensive experience drawing dogs, cats, and horses, she is happy to create portraits of any animal.

How to Order
After placing your order, please email Hello@thedolphinstudio.com with:
- A clear, high-quality photo of your pet
- Your pet's name (if you would like it included on the portrait)
- A little information about your pet—we love hearing their stories!
- Any background color preferences you'd like incorporated into the artwork
Turnaround Time
Please allow 3–4 weeks for completion of your custom portrait.
