Our Signature 2025 Dolphin Studio Calendar

The 54th consecutive annual edition of our signature product, made up of 13 prints — 12 months and a cover/envelope. Each silkscreen print is carefully hand pulled by the ffrench Family of Stockbridge, MA with a little help from our friends (we bow down to our print team).

A testament to the enjoyment our calendars imbue, is the community of customers who come back each year, some, for the full run of all 50+ years. Many of these loyal customers have become friends. Stories are shared about where they hang their calendar, the ritual of the monthly image reveal, and gone-by months hanging in nurseries, or among wedding photos.

Many of our tried-and-true calendar collectors, don't look ahead at the upcoming months, choosing rather, to cherish the surprise as the first of each month rolls around. Because of this, we don’t picture much of our current year’s images in our marketing materials.

Each monthly image is designed by a family member. Artists include Crispina ffrench, and her kids Lucy (18) and Violet (17), Sofia Hughes and her daughters Lily (25) and Jamie (17). In addition, vintage prints designed by John and Primm ffrench (our parents and founders of The Dolphin Studio) and images for our sister Felicitas, and Crispina’s son, Ben are added to the mix.

We use water based inks on recycled paper in an effort to make our process as environmentally friendly as possible.
