Behind the scenes we had kinks to iron out and platforms to understand. With all that well underway, we are taking a little time to polish our presence and put our formal launch together. I just can’t WAIT! Hosting a textile upcycling podcast has been a dream a decade in the making… and NOW it is really REAL!
There are so many people to thank for helping me get to this place. Sondra Primeaux and I stumbled across each other nearly a year ago when she joined my team as our Stitcherhood Community Manager. Little did I know that not only is she an extra-ordinary textile upcycling creatrix, she hosted the very cool, The UnRuffled Podcast for over 4 years.
Sondra has shown me the ropes, taught me that ‘published is better than perfect’ and encouraged me to dive into this engaging new journey that feels pretty perfect to me.
Van Daalhuyzen – sound wizard and producer of Rags to Riches Textile Upcycling Podcast, is someone who I am so grateful to have in my life. Van, and my son Ben, graduated high school together and KILLED the Battle of the Bands their senior year. They were roomates in Boston while studying at Berklee too. Kinda like brothers.
