Our very first calendars were made, when we lived in Ireland, for about a dozen friends. Each page (month) was an original design using different materials and techniques: watercolors, pen and ink, collage, silkscreening, etc. We found silkscreening to be the best way to make many copies. In later years the calendars evolved into twelve 12" X 24" silkscreened prints. 
John and Primm each designed six months. As our daughters grew, they too each designed a month, beginning with their birth month (all family birthdays are enhanced in some way.) As more people saw the calendars they requested more and more. Soon they were available in our Dolphin Studio shop and by mail order. As Ben and Lily grew, they too each designed a month. We will have to wait a few years before Lucy and Violet join us with designs!

Checks should be made out to The Dolphin Studio. The calendars are $50 each. We have switched to UPS for our calendar deliveries this year; it costs a little more but we think it's worth it for the ability to track the packages. Mailing for orders shipped to US addresses is $10 for the first calendar and $3 for each additional calendar ordered. If you would like to order more than five calendars at a time, please email Sofia for exact shipping rates. If calendars are to be sent to addresses in Massachusetts, we must collect 5% sales tax, $2.50 per calendar.
If you are near Stockbridge and want to come to the studio to pick up your calendars in person, please phone us first at +1 413-298-3735. Each calendar picked up in person is subject to sales tax so the price is $52.50.
We try to get the calendars sent out as soon as the orders with payment are received.
If you would like to be added to our mailing list to be notified when the new calendars are available, just send an email to dolphinstudiolist-subscribe@nine.pairlist.net. You will get a confirmation email with a long number in the subject. You must reply to this email in order to be added to the list. We will only email you once a year, and we will never sell or give away your information.
